The
findings on the current state of management of the physical education (PE)
curriculum implementation at the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City
Center for Sport (the SC, VNU-HCM) reveal several existing limitations and
shortcomings. These include: (1) a lack of synchronization in facilities and
infrastructure, which has not adequately met the diversity of courses within
the PE curriculum; (2) an insufficient number of lecturers in relation to the
large student population across Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City
(VNU-HCM); (3) the leadership of the SC, VNU-HCM not fully adapting to changes
in the management and implementation context; (4) shortcomings in management
mechanisms, policies, and regulatory frameworks; as well as (5) limited
application of information technology in management activities and constraints
in managerial awareness.
